Power establishments: relax. Advice to power establishments (entities such as Governments of all kinds, large companies, religious establishments of all kinds, etc etc) on how to cope with proposed changes in a good way. Sit back and watch what the people want, and how powerfully they want it. Based on that, assuming the want for changes becomes powerful, just try to earn points in the proces itself for yourselve, put yourselves at the head to the degree you already are. This can and probably will be profitable for both you and the rest of the people. You can look after your own interests while guiding the changes in a good way, while the people don`t have to go through a lot of needless struggles that could become a pain for all parties. It is irrelevant whether certain entities where derided for whatever in the past and/or on my site etc, what counts is the present & the future. Points can be scored now and in the future. Points that would be worth remembering while the pain and mistakes by all parties - both establishments and the people who also failed to set up real structures that would work for all so far - of the past would be worthy of forgetfullness. Let not the mistakes of the past create more regrets for the future. Forget who exactly was guilty of what, since all where guilty if not of action then inaction, if in return the change process could be done in a relaxed, not very fast but careful way. South Africa has made a remarkable way to make changes in a non-violent way, through truth and reconcilliation. That was after a battle that the establisments lost. How much more easy and friendly would it all be if the establishments of power do not go to war with the people who want change, but we work together and aim for the long term future. Is it worth it for power establishments to fight hard for 15 years, when in a non combative way the power establishments bend a little more all the time, and the people in the establishments live out a reasonably good life ? In return for that, of course, the power establishments would have to be sure not to be prosecuted hard after losing more & more power. I`d say: by playing nice, you`re going to earn yourselves the points that make you earn being treated nice in return in the eyes of the people. Death & destruction is not the goal, long term better future is: for all, the more the better. There is no reason to fear the change process to get stuck and things remaining the same, because the program is far too detailed to allow it to come to a permanent standstill (assuming theory = correct). Quick & decisive is not necessary, slow and careful are beneficial in principle. Why would it bother anyone when some high up director rides a big car and has a free standing home for the time being and maybe that is decades, when we know such things will probably not be easy or possible to get from exploiting other people in the reasonably near future (decades, centuries). When we know the exploitation is going to end relatively soon by making slow headway with the program, then the old remains of exploitation aren`t impressing or enraging anymore in the way they otherwise might. I say that is a deal too good not to take up for the power establishments. Realize also that if you are in the power establishment in a country that has a trade economy as they probably almost all or all have, you are probably in the possession of marketable skills. You should be able to market those skills again in the true trade economy that would result, where work and skill would be rewarded and crime and lazyness not. So what is there to fear. Peace is best achieved through peace, even if it takes longer that is often worth the trouble. So don`t be so afraid about a terrible "mob rule" revolution and that everyone would be put to the wall and shot who wasn`t "with us." That is quite unlikely to happen, I`m certainly not seeking it, one way or the other. The power establishments shouldn`t expect to be able to win this if they are against my basic 4 points program. Since you`re so unlikely to win, why not play along and get as much out of it as you can in a good and positive way. If you do, who am I to deny you your gains in that. If need be I`ll try to stop violence on ruling class prisoners if it where to come to a violent clash somewhere. It is not just the ruling class who is guilty, the exploited class is guilty as well. For one thing, guilty for allowing a ruling class to emerge and have it be populated by people who where then enticed to do not so good things at times. The people could have easily done more if they wanted to. posted on Saturday, March 21, 2009 12:29 PM Comments No comments posted yet. Post Comment
