Major 2nd class (new, learning) 450-750, batallion Major 1st class (proven) 450-750, batallion Colonel 2nd class (new, learning) 900-2500, regiment Colonel 1st class (proven) 900-2500, regiment Independent fighting units, senior officers: General, Brigade General (2nd/1st class) 5000-5500, brigade *) Keep fiddling with it ... doesn't sound right that a major would command a group with the same size/name as a colonel (though that is what some websites seem to say about majors and colonels.) It also seems to me that a 5000 is already a general seems like a small unit for a general ? However sites claim that this is what armies normally do, even as few as 3000 troops (3 batallions, one brigade). Then again, 10.000 troops is a big force, so maybe it isn't bad that its constituting parts are already under a general themselves. The idea with this is too: of course every army / nation should make out what they want for themselves, however it might be more functional if things are more similar ?? Maybe not, then again maybe so, who can tell beforehand. --
