The propaganda game ------------------- Who wants to play the propaganda game with me ? It goes like this (this is how I play it): You need: - use of a printer to make a print - money to make copies of print - paper cutter - 1 dice cube - map of cities & street-names - some means of transport - the will to do something *1* Print this (excluding the line ---8<-----) ... --------------------------8<------------------------------------8<--------- political-economic propaganda pamphlet: A BETTER FUTURE ? analysis * We can not build without a political/economic solution: analysis, solutions, laws. A system of society/law must be invented, and then a way to get it (overcoming distortion of democracy by Capital). This sheet proposes a certain solution, worked out in detail elsewhere. * Trading of products and services is (should be) a protection for the people that produce them. To be fair this demands equal power between all people. * The things that go wrong without justification, are the result of the greedy and unaccountable management invested in by the gambling private financiers for their own sake (Capitalist distortion of the free markets). solution * All investment money becomes a democratic tool, no more private gambling with people's lives by the unproductive financial investment sector. * Companies become democracies when the business starter leaves. Starter gets compensation and a share of future profits. * Land for nature and public utility is subtracted from the total of the Nation first, what remains is divided equally. What you can do with it is limited by democratic government to prevent chaos. You can not sell/lose this right, but you can rent it out. * Sectors of productivity where competition for consumer favor does not work because there can't be enough competitors or the cost of bankruptcy is too high that it can't be allowed anyway, are directed by democracy/negotiation. * Money is transferred to a new (not global) currency to flush out private Capital. The money and debt of people is transplanted to the new money, but a maximum (30 times average?) is set for everyone, what is more is not transplanted to the new money (it stops existing). * The maximum size of a Nation will be 100 million voters, each Nation will be fully sovereign. method * First thinking about (this and/or other) solutions, improving them where needed. This makes the letters quite small, but it can come out readable. ---- ---- ---- ---- | | | : | | | | 1 : 2 | 1 --> ...:... | | | 3 : 4 | | | | : | ---- ---- ---- ---- This is a) cheaper, b) less environmental pollution, c) lighter, d) more humble, I think people will like these properties. Cut to size. If you like to go bigger suit yourself, of course, whatever makes you happy. *2* Think about in what city or cities you want to place propaganda. *3* To determine the street: throw the dice twice. a 1\ g 1\ m 1\ s 1\ y 1\ b 2 \ h 2 \ n 2 \ t 2 \ z 2 \ c 3 \ group 1 i 3 \ group 2 o 3 \ group 3 u 3 \ group 4 3 \ group 5 d 4 / j 4 / p 4 / v 4 / 4 / e 5 / k 5 / q 5 / w 5 / 5 / f 6/ l 6/ r 6/ x 6/ 6/ One throw for the group, the other for the number in the group. If you throw a 6 for the group, that means two more turns for that city or area. If you throw an empty 5 (group 5 + 3, 4, 5 or 6 which have no letter), then the turn is over: no propaganda there ! Find another city or area. I figure one turn per 200.000 persons is a good start ? Do whatever you like of course, whatever makes you happy. The game is primarily because it is almost impossible to hit every single mailbox, at least for now. Seeding the pamphlets around a bit at random, hopefully that will set off the changes. If throwing the dice yields a letter, look it up in the registry for the targeted city. Find the street closest to your letter, that will be the one to put propaganda in every mail box. If there are 2 sets of streets at equal alphabetic distance from your letter starting with the same letter, then throwing the dice 1,2,3 means the upper series closer to A, 4,5,6 means the lower series closer to Z. When you have a series of streets that start with the letter you ended up with (either directly or by further throwing a dice): if it is a very long series larger then 6 then throw the dice for another letter. If you end up with a series of streets that start with the letter(s) you found that is not longer then 6, number them 1,2,3,4,5,6 and throw the dice. Be careful with dice throwing because you can never add the dice numbers up to make a choice between 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12. If you want to make a choice between more then 6: divide your series into 2 first, otherwise you end up having a low chance at 2 or 12, and a high chance for 7. Then you've found a random street. Hit the road and post propaganda ! (Obviously there are other ways how you could randomly select a street to place propaganda.) If you translated the pamphlet, please send me a copy so I can put it up, thank you. Hopefully the people getting the pamphlet will inform all the others that have not. Then the law will be set right by majority opinion. Victory is in our grasp, all we have to do is take it.
